Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Core Profile Grinder to join our manufacturing team. The candidate will be responsible for operating grinding machines to achieve the required core profiles, dimensions, surface finish, and quality standards as per engineering drawings and production specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate profile grinding machines to grind components as per specified dimensions and tolerances.

• Read and understand engineering drawings, job specifications, and work instructions.

• Perform grinding operations on core profiles and other precision components.

• Set up grinding machines, select suitable grinding wheels, and adjust machine parameters as required.

• Inspect finished components using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

• Ensure dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and profile accuracy of components.

• Identify and report defects, deviations, or machine-related issues to the supervisor.

• Maintain production records and follow quality inspection procedures.

• Follow workplace safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness in the work area.
  

Candidate Requirements

• BE or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.

• Experience in profile grinding, precision grinding, or similar manufacturing operations is an advantage.

• Basic knowledge of engineering drawings, tolerances, and measuring instruments.

• Ability to operate grinding machines safely and efficiently.

• Good attention to detail and quality awareness.

• Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment and in shifts, if required.
  

Skills Required

• Profile grinding machine operation.

• Knowledge of dimensional inspection and quality control.

• Understanding of engineering drawings.

• Basic machine setting and troubleshooting.
