About the Role As a Content Project Manager you will work on complex projects to deliver quality service to book publishing business. You will help to offer flexibility and a problem-solving approach to the post transmittal phase of books, journals and media projects. Responsibilities · Collaborating with Content Strategist to ensure timely delivery of well-prepared material for publication adhering to quality benchmarks · Briefing authors, editors, translators e-workflows and train them to use tools to deliver print and electronic material to required standard · Ensuring all contributors contracts for edited works are returned before copyedit stage and relevant payments are made according to contracts · Laising with freelancers and suppliers to ensure efficient proof correction in materials and projects are correctly stored after publication · Monitoring quality throughout delivery and production to ensure finished publication meets multi channel market needs through logical placement of text, tables, illustrations · Coordinating and advising on production issues to deliver a high quality cover, branding and interior styling · Managing artwork process with authors, illustrators and vendors per project, ensuring all delivered artwork meets technical and product requirements Requirements · Be a university graduate · Have excellent experience in Scientific,Technical and medical publishing · Display experience managing writers and Subject Matter Experts · Demonstrate experience in managing multiple, high-priority projects. · Be a natural communicator with an ability to build relationships with cross-functional teams and external suppliers with honesty and integrity · Be able to show skills in project management and delivering results in a global matrix organisation through managing multiple projects · Have knowledge of e-devices and e-content workflows with familiarity of accpetable formats for digital Work in a way that works for you We promote a healthy work/life balance across the organization.
