CNC VMC Programmer

• VMC Controller: Okuma OSP P300 (similar to Fanuc)

• CNC Controller: Fanuc & Siemens

• Insert/cutter change

• Wear offset

• Job & tool offset

• Machine setting

• Knowledge of tooling inserts & cutters

• Parameters of tooling inserts & cutters

• CNC & VMC programming

• Software programming (currently using HyperMill)

• 2D & 3D drawing/design knowledge

• Ability to work in day/night shifts

• Read drawings with GD&T tolerance

• Use of measuring instruments: Vernier, micrometer, bore gauge, height gauge, comparator gauge, etc.

• Must have prior experience working in a tool room environment.
