Job Title: CNC/VMC Machine Shop Supervisor
Experience: 2–4 Years
Qualification: ITI / Diploma / Degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced CNC/VMC Machine Shop Supervisor to manage daily production activities, manpower, quality, and machine utilization. The candidate should have hands-on knowledge of CNC/VMC operations and the ability to achieve production targets while maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and monitor daily CNC/VMC production activities.
Manage operators, manpower allocation, and shift activities.
Knowledge of Fanuc and Siemens CNC controllers.
Read engineering drawings and understand tolerances and GD&T.
Perform first-piece inspection and in-process quality checks using precision measuring instruments.
Monitor tool life, machine performance, and preventive maintenance.
Troubleshoot machining issues and reduce rejection and downtime.
Implement 5S, Kaizen, and workplace safety practices.
Train operators and ensure achievement of production targets.
Required Skills
2–4 years of CNC/VMC machining experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team-lead role.
Knowledge of CNC setup, tool offsets, and machining operations.
Proficiency in using vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and dial indicators.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and manpower management skills.
