Responsibilities:
Operate CNC Plasma and Laser cutting machines efficiently.
Set up machine parameters, tools, and cutting programs.
Read and interpret fabrication drawings, cutting lists, and job specifications.
Perform material loading, alignment, and clamping.
Monitor cutting quality and make necessary adjustments.
Conduct routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
Ensure safety standards and maintain a clean work area.
Coordinate with production team to meet daily targets.
Maintain records of production, materials, and machine performance.
Skills & Requirements
4–7 years of hands-on experience in CNC Plasma or Laser cutting operations.
Strong knowledge of fabrication cutting processes and sheet-metal materials.
Ability to read engineering drawings and cutting layouts.
Understanding of machine parameters, speed, feed, and consumables.
Basic knowledge of CNC programming (preferred).
Ability to handle measuring instruments (vernier, tape, gauges).
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Physically fit to handle material loading and machine operations.
Education
ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Fitter, Fabrication, or related field.
