The CNC Turning & Milling Operator is responsible for operating, setting, and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision components as per drawings and quality standards. The role requires strong technical knowledge, machine handling skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Operate CNC turning and CNC milling machines efficiently and safely.
Set up machines by loading tools, fixtures, and raw materials.
Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job orders accurately.
Monitor machining processes and make necessary offsets/adjustments.
Inspect finished components using measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, etc.).
Maintain dimensional accuracy and surface finish as per specifications.
Perform daily machine maintenance and maintain cleanliness of the work area.
Identify machining issues and troubleshoot basic problems.
Work closely with the production and quality teams to meet delivery targets.
Maintain production reports and follow company safety guidelines.
