NC Machine Operator – Job Description

📌 Job Summary

A CNC (Computer Numerical Control) Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines used to manufacture precision parts and components according to technical specifications.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC machines (lathe, milling, drilling)
Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Load raw materials and monitor machine operations
Ensure products meet quality standards and measurements
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting
Adjust machine settings for accuracy and efficiency
Maintain safety and cleanliness in the workspace

🧰 Required Skills

Basic knowledge of CNC programming (G-code/M-code)
Ability to read engineering drawings
Attention to detail and precision
Problem-solving skills
Knowledge of measuring tools (vernier caliper, micrometer)

📋 Eligibility Criteria

ITI/Diploma in Mechanical or related field
Basic CNC training preferred
Experience (0–3 years depending on role)
