Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled CNC Operator / CNC Programmer to set up, program, operate, and maintain CNC machines for precision manufacturing. The ideal candidate should be able to interpret engineering drawings, create CNC programs, ensure product quality, and maintain production efficiency while following safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC milling, turning, or machining centre machines.
Develop and edit CNC programs using G-code or CAM software.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machine parameters.
Perform machine setup, tool offset adjustments, and prove-out of new programs.
Inspect finished components using measuring instruments such as vernier callipers, micrometres, height gauges, and CMM (if applicable).
Monitor production quality and make necessary program or tooling adjustments.
Troubleshoot machining issues and minimize downtime.
Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean work area.
Follow company quality standards, safety procedures, and production schedules.
Maintain production and inspection records.
Required Qualifications
ITI/Diploma/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2–5 years of experience as a CNC Operator or CNC Programmer (experience requirement may vary).
Knowledge of CNC Milling, Turning, VMC, HMC, or Turning Centers.
Strong understanding of G-code, M-code, tooling, feeds, and speeds.
Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.
Experience with measuring instruments and quality inspection.
Familiarity with CAM software such as Mastercam, SolidCAM, NX CAM, or similar is an advantage.
