Programming & Operation: Load/run CNC programs (e.g., G-code) or write programs for cutting, engraving, and milling tasks.
Quality Control: Inspect finished parts using precision tools (calipers, micrometers) to ensure compliance with blueprints and specifications.
Maintenance & Safety: Perform routine preventative maintenance (cleaning, lubricating) and follow all company safety procedures.
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues with tools, raw materials, or machine performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience: Generally 1+ years of experience with CNC machinery, specifically router equipment.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading engineering drawings/blueprints and utilizing CAD/CAM software (e.g., EnRoute, ArtCAM).
Tools: Familiarity with CNC tools (router bits, collets) and measurement tools.
Technical Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is often preferred.
