Perform complete CNC machine setting for automobile components
Read and understand engineering drawings, job cards, and process sheets
Set tools, fixtures, offsets, and machine parameters as per job requirement
Load and verify CNC programs before production start
Conduct trial run and first-piece inspection
Hand over machines to operators with proper instructions
Monitor initial production and resolve setting-related issues
Ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish as per customer standards
Reduce setup time, rejection, and machine idle time
Maintain tool life data and setting records
Follow all safety norms, PPE usage, and 5S practices
Support continuous improvement and productivity initiatives
Strong hands-on experience in CNC machine setting
Knowledge of automobile component machining processes
Ability to read drawings, tolerances, and GD&T
Proficient in using measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, Height Gauge)
Basic CNC programming knowledge (Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi preferred)
Understanding of cutting tools, inserts, and fixtures
Problem-solving and coordination with operators
Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Experience: 2–5 years in CNC setting (Automobile industry preferred)
Shop-floor based role
Shift duty as per production plan
CNC machines only (no conventional machines)
