CNC Machine Operator

We are looking for a CNC & VMC Setter to join our team Siddharth Brakes Pvt. Ltd.. The role involves tool setup, programme loading, planning , programme loading, first off and maintaining quality standards on the production floor.

·       Interpreting Drawings:

The setter will read and understand engineering drawings, including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), to determine the required dimensions and tolerances. 

·       Planning Machining:

They'll plan the machining sequence, selecting the appropriate tools, workholding fixtures, and programs for the job. 

·       Tool Setup:

Setting up cutting tools, work holding, and datums using various tools like Renishaw probes, dial indicators, and edge finders. 

·       Program Loading:

Selecting and loading the appropriate CNC programs onto the machine. 

·       First Off:

Running and verifying the first part (first off) to ensure it meets specifications and making adjustments as needed. 

·       Workpiece Setup:

Preparing and loading raw materials or parts onto the machine, ensuring they are properly secured. 

·       Machine Monitoring:

Monitoring the machine's operation during machining, making adjustments as needed to maintain accuracy and quality. 

·       Quality Control:

Inspecting and measuring finished parts to ensure they meet specifications and tolerances. 

·       Maintenance:

Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting on the CNC machine to ensure optimal performance. 

·       Training: May be involved in training new employees on machine operation and safety procedures. 

·       Documentation: Completing inspection sheets and route cards, ensuring accurate record-keeping. 

·       Communication: Liaising with engineers and other members of the team to discuss machining requirements and address any issues. 

·       Safety: Following all safety guidelines and protocols, ensuring a safe working environment. 

·       Housekeeping: Maintaining a clean and organized work area. 

Job Requirements:

The minimum qualification for this role is 12th or ITI and 2-3 years in manufacturing or a related field. Attention to detail, physical stamina and ability to follow instructions are very important for this role.
