Job Description

We are looking for a CNC Machine Operator to join our team at Sarada Robotech. The role involves operating machinery, assembling products and maintaining quality standards on the production floor. Key Responsibilities – CNC Turning & VMC Programmer cum Operator

Programming & Setup
- Develop and edit CNC programs (G-code/M-code) for CNC Turning and VMC machines.
- Interpret engineering drawings, CAD files, and technical specifications.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, inserts, fixtures, and workholding methods.
- Set up machines, including tooling, offsets, and job alignment.
Machine Operation
- Operate CNC Turning and VMC machines to produce precision components.
- Ensure proper machine parameters such as speed, feed, and depth of cut.
- Monitor machining processes and make necessary adjustments.
Quality Control
- Inspect finished components using measuring instruments (Vernier, micrometer, bore gauge, etc.).
- Ensure parts meet dimensional tolerances and quality standards.
- Maintain proper documentation of inspection reports.
Process Optimization
- Improve cycle time and machining efficiency.
- Reduce tool wear and optimize tool life.
- Suggest improvements in machining processes and productivity.
Troubleshooting
- Identify and resolve machining issues such as tool breakage, vibration, or dimensional errors.
- Debug and modify CNC programs as required.
Maintenance & Safety
- Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure cleanliness.
- Follow safety procedures and use PPE at all times.
- Report any machine faults or safety hazards immediately.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain records of programs, tooling details, and production data.
- Prepare SOPs and setup sheets for repeat jobs.
Coordination
- Work closely with design, production, and quality teams.
- Assist in training junior operators if required.

Job Requirements:

The minimum qualification for this role is below 10th and 3 - 6+ years of experience in manufacturing or a related field. Attention to detail, physical stamina and ability to follow instructions are very important for this role.
