Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Operate CNC grinding machines such as cylindrical, surface, centerless, or tool & cutter grinders
Set up grinding wheels, fixtures, and workpieces
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and process sheets
Monitor machine operations and adjust parameters as required
Perform precision grinding operations to achieve specified tolerances and surface finishes
Inspect finished components using measuring instruments like micrometers, vernier calipers, bore gauges, and dial indicators

Required Skills:

Knowledge of CNC grinding processes and machine operations
Ability to read technical drawings and GD&T symbols
Familiarity with Fanuc, Siemens, or other CNC controls
Understanding of grinding wheels, cutting parameters, and tolerances
Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
