Job Title: CNC-VMC Programmer

Department: Mechanical – DTA

Location: Sachin, Gujarat

Educational Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Professional Qualification: Hands-on experience in CNC & VMC Programming.

Job Summary

STPL is looking for a skilled CNC-VMC Programmer who will be responsible for developing and optimizing CNC/VMC programs, interpreting engineering drawings, and supporting machining operations. The ideal candidate should have sound knowledge of CAD/CAM software, tooling selection, and machining processes to ensure quality production and efficient machine utilization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and optimize CNC/VMC programs for machining operations.

• Interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing specifications accurately.

• Prepare and validate machining programs using CAD/CAM software.

• Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machining parameters.

• Ensure optimum machine utilization and maintain production quality.

• Coordinate with production and quality teams to resolve machining-related issues.

• Perform program trials and implement improvements for cycle time reduction.

• Follow safety standards and maintain proper documentation.

Required Technical Skills

• CNC & VMC Programming

• Solid CAD/CAM knowledge

• Tooling selection and machining knowledge

• Engineering drawing reading and interpretation

• Machine setup and programming

• Shift handling experience
