We are looking for a CNC Machine Operator to join our team at Rajshree Precision Private Limited. The role involves operating machinery, assembling products and maintaining quality standards on the production floor. This position offers an in-hand salary of ₹20,000 - ₹25,000 and an opportunity to be part of a growing and essential industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment
Assemble, pack and inspect products as per company guidelines
Maintain records and manage tool room inventory
Perform preventive maintenance to avoid downtime
Ensure safety and quality standards are followed
Collaborate with teams for tool improvements and new mold trials.
Instead of shaping materials by hand, factory machines use computers to drill, cut, and mill metal or plastic. A CNC Operator/Programmer is the person who tells the machine what to do (the programmer part) and makes sure the machine does it safely and accurately (the operator part).
Programming (Writing the Instructions)
Read Blueprints: Study technical drawings, 3D models, or instructions to understand the exact size and shape of the part that needs to be made.
Write Code: Use computer software (CAD/CAM software like AutoCAD or Mastercam) to write programs—often using a machine language called G-code—that tell the machine how to move.
Set Paths: Decide how fast the machine should cut and what path the sharp tools should take to avoid wasting material
Operating & Setup (Running the Machine)
Prepare the Machine: Choose the right sharp cutting tools (like drills or blades) and load them into the machine.
Load Materials: Secure the raw blocks of metal, wood, or plastic safely into the machine's holder.
Test Runs: Run a test cycle (sometimes in the air or on scrap material) to make sure the computer program works perfectly without breaking the tools.
Monitor Production: Watch the machine while it cuts to ensure there are no errors, glitches, or strange noises.
Quality Control & Maintenance (Checking the Work)
Measure Parts: Use precise measuring tools like calipers and micrometers to check the finished part against the blueprint.
Fix Mistakes: If a part is too big or too small, adjust the machine settings or the computer code to fix it.
Clean & Maintain: Clean the machine daily, clear out metal chips, top off oils/coolants, and change worn-out cutting blades.
Job Requirements:
The minimum qualification for this role is Diploma and 2 - 4 years of experience in manufacturing or a related field. Attention to detail, physical stamina and ability to follow instructions are very important for this role.
