CNC Machine Operator

• A CNC machine operator sets up, runs, and monitors computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce precision parts from various materials like metal and plastic. Key duties include reading blueprints, operating CNC equipment, inspecting finished products for quality, performing basic maintenance, and maintaining a safe work environment. This role requires mathematical aptitude, attention to detail, mechanical skill, and knowledge of blueprints and machine settings to ensure accuracy and meet production specifications.
• Key Responsibilities
• Machine Setup:
• Calibrating and setting up CNC machines with the correct settings and materials for each production run.
• Operation:
• Starting, running, and overseeing the CNC machine's operation, adjusting settings as needed to ensure proper performance.
• Monitoring:
• Observing machine performance and output throughout the production process to identify and address any issues.
• Quality Control:
• Inspecting completed parts using measuring tools to verify they meet the required specifications and quality standards.
• Maintenance:
• Performing routine maintenance and cleaning on the machinery to keep it in good working order.
• Blueprint Interpretation:
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints to understand part designs and production requirements.
• Troubleshooting:
• Collaborating with engineers and other team members to resolve production problems or deviations from specifications.
• Documentation:
• Maintaining records of production runs and reporting any issues encountered.
• Safety:

• Required Skills & Qualifications
