Job Title: Spring Coil Machine Operator

Location: Shahzadpur, District- Ambala, State- Haryana, PIN- 134202.

Reports To: Production Supervisor/Manager

Job Summary:

The Spring Coil Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining automatic and semi-automatic spring coil machines. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of spring manufacturing processes to ensure high-quality, efficient production of springs for various applications. The operator will work with other members of the production team to meet production targets and maintain safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Machine Setup & Operation:

  • Set up, calibrate, and operate spring coil machines (e.g., CNC spring coilers, automatic and semi-automatic machines).

  • Load raw materials (wire, coil stock) into machines.

  • Adjust machine settings for different types of springs, including tension, compression, and torsion springs.

  • Monitor machine operations to ensure accurate spring dimensions and quality.

• Quality Control:

  • Inspect springs for compliance with engineering specifications and quality standards.

  • Perform routine measurements (e.g., using micrometers, calipers, gauges) to ensure the accuracy of the springs.

  • Troubleshoot and correct any defects or quality issues.

• Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

  • Perform regular maintenance on machinery to prevent downtime, including cleaning and lubrication.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine malfunctions and report major issues to the maintenance team.

• Production Monitoring:

  • Monitor production schedules and adjust machine speeds to meet deadlines and targets.

  • Keep track of raw material inventory and notify management when supplies are low.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in the workplace.

• Documentation & Reporting:

  • Maintain production logs, including details on machine settings, material usage, and output quantities.

  • Document any deviations from production standards and report them to the supervisor.

• Collaboration & Communication:

  • Work closely with supervisors, engineers, and other machine operators to ensure smooth operations.

  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding machine performance and any issues that arise.

Requirements:

• Experience:

  • Previous experience as a Spring Coil Machine Operator or in a similar manufacturing role is preferred.

  • Familiarity with CNC machines, coil winding, or wire bending machinery is a plus.

• Skills:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and schematics.

  • Knowledge of spring types, wire types, and relevant manufacturing standards.

  • Proficient in the use of measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.).

  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform minor repairs.

• Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy materials, and perform repetitive tasks.

  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
