CNC Machine Operator

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Laser Cutting Operator with strong proficiency in AutoCAD to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC laser cutting machines, preparing and optimizing cutting programs, ensuring product accuracy, and maintaining production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and set up CNC laser cutting machines to produce components as per design specifications.

Interpret and work from technical drawings, CAD models, and work orders.

Create, modify, and optimize cutting programs using AutoCAD and related software.

Select appropriate material, tools, and machine settings for each job.

Ensure parts meet quality, dimensional accuracy, and finish standards.

Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of laser cutting machines.

Monitor production processes, identify inefficiencies, and suggest improvements.

Adhere to safety standards, quality control procedures, and company policies.

Collaborate with the design and production teams for smooth workflow execution.

Qualifications & Skills

Diploma / ITI / Certificate in Mechanical, Production, or related field.

Proven experience (2–5 years preferred) as a CNC Laser Cutting Operator.

Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory) and knowledge of other CAD/CAM software.

Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication, machine tolerances, and cutting parameters.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.

Hands-on knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting.

Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work in a team.
