CNC Machine Operator

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Turning Programmer cum Operator with expertise in

Fanuc controllers. The candidate will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC

turning machines to produce precision components as per engineering drawings and quality

standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Program CNC Turning machines using Fanuc controllers as per drawing and process

requirements.

• Set up CNC turning machines including tooling, offsets, and work holding.

• Operate CNC turning machines to produce precision components with high accuracy and

surface finish.

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, GDT symbols, and technical documents.

• Optimize machining parameters to improve productivity and reduce tool wear.

• Conduct in-process inspection using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, height gauges, and

other precision measuring instruments.

• Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of machines, tools, and work area.

• Troubleshoot machining issues, make necessary adjustments, and ensure minimum

downtime.

• Adhere to quality control processes and company safety standards.

• Collaborate with the production and quality team to meet delivery schedules.

Requirements :

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Tool & Die / Equivalent.

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in CNC Turning programming and operation on Fanuc

Controller.

• Strong knowledge of G & M codes programming.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and process sheets.

• Hands-on experience in tool selection, setup, and offset adjustment.

• Knowledge of cutting speeds, feeds, and machining parameters.

• Familiar with precision measuring instruments and quality standards.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• It is a Full Time Manufacturing job for candidates with 2 - 5 years of experience.
