🏭 Industry: Manufacturing / Precision Engineering / Aerospace (if applicable)
We are looking for a skilled and experienced CNC Turning Operator who can independently operate and program CNC turning machines. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in precision machining, tooling, and quality inspection.
The CNC Turning Operator will be responsible for machine setup, operation, programming, tool selection, and ensuring production quality as per engineering drawings.
Set up and operate CNC turning machines independently
Create, modify, and troubleshoot CNC programs (Fanuc / Siemens / etc.)
Read and interpret engineering drawings and machining symbols
Select appropriate tooling, inserts, and cutting parameters
Monitor machining process and ensure part accuracy
Conduct in-process inspection using measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc.)
Maintain machine productivity and quality standards
Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure shop-floor safety
5–9 years of hands-on experience in CNC turning
Must have CNC programming knowledge
ITI / Diploma / NTTF / Equivalent in Machining or Tool & Die
Experience in precision machining (Aerospace/Automotive preferred)
Strong understanding of G & M codes and machining practices
CNC programming & operation
Tool selection and cutting parameter optimization
Knowledge of GD&T
Problem-solving and troubleshooting
Quality inspection tools handling
