CNC Machine Operator

We are looking for a skilled and experienced CNC Turning Operator who can independently operate and program CNC turning machines. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in precision machining, tooling, and quality inspection.

🔍 Role Overview

The CNC Turning Operator will be responsible for machine setup, operation, programming, tool selection, and ensuring production quality as per engineering drawings.

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC turning machines independently

• Create, modify, and troubleshoot CNC programs (Fanuc / Siemens / etc.)

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and machining symbols

• Select appropriate tooling, inserts, and cutting parameters

• Monitor machining process and ensure part accuracy

• Conduct in-process inspection using measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc.)

• Maintain machine productivity and quality standards

• Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure shop-floor safety

🎓 Qualifications & Experience

• 5–9 years of hands-on experience in CNC turning

• Must have CNC programming knowledge

• ITI / Diploma / NTTF / Equivalent in Machining or Tool & Die

• Experience in precision machining (Aerospace/Automotive preferred)

• Strong understanding of G & M codes and machining practices
