Job Title: CNC Operator / CNC Setter
Department: Production / Manufacturing
Job Responsibilities
Operate CNC turning machines as per production requirements.
Set up CNC machines according to job specifications and engineering drawings.
Perform machine setting, tool setting, and tool offset adjustments.
Read and understand engineering drawings and measuring instruments.
Monitor machining operations and ensure component quality.
Perform in-process inspection using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, and other measuring instruments.
Identify machining defects and report production or quality issues to the supervisor.
Maintain production targets and follow safety procedures.
Perform basic machine troubleshooting and maintain workplace cleanliness.
Required Skills
Experience in CNC machine operation and/or setting.
Knowledge of CNC turning machines, tools, and offsets.
Ability to read engineering drawings.
Knowledge of measuring instruments and component inspection.
ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
