Job Title: CNC Operator - Teflon (PTFE) Products

Job Summary:
The CNC Operator-Teflon Products is responsible for operating CNC machines (Turning/Milling) to manufacture precision PTFE (Teflon) components as per drawings and quality standards. The role includes machine setup, tool handling, process monitoring, and maintaining production efficiency while ensuring adherence to safety and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate CNC Turning/Milling machines to produce PTFE (Teflon) components.
Set up tools, fixtures, and workpieces as per job specifications.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and process sheets.
Input and edit CNC programs (basic level, if required).
Monitor machining parameters such as speed, feed, and depth of cut.
Perform in-process inspection using measuring instruments (Vernier caliper, micrometer, bore gauge, height gauge). 17 Ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish as per quality standards.
Maintain production records and report daily output.
Replace worn tools and perform basic machine maintenance.
Coordinate with Quality Control for first-piece approval.
Follow safety procedures.
Minimize material wastage and optimize cycle time.
Required Skills:
Knowledge of CNC machine operation (Fanuc/Siemens or similar control systems preferred).
Understanding of PTFE (Teflon) material behavior during machining.
Ability to read technical drawings and tolerances.
Basic knowledge of G-code and M-code (preferred).
Strong attention to detail and quality orientation.
Ability to work in shifts.
Qualification:
ITI/Diploma in Machinist/Fitter/Mechanical Engineering.
1-3 years of experience in CNC machining (experience in PTFE/Teflon products preferred).
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long hours.
Manual handling of materials as required.
Comfortable working in a production environment
