CNC Machine Operator

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and proactive CNC Machine Service Engineer to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machines and related equipment at customer sites or in-house. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical and electrical background, along with hands-on experience in servicing CNC machines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and commission CNC machines (Turning, Milling, VMC, etc.) at customer locations.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system issues in CNC machines.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance as per service schedules.

• Repair or replace faulty parts including motors, drives, control boards, spindles, etc.

• Calibrate and align machine tools to ensure optimal performance.

• Read and interpret machine schematics, wiring diagrams, and manuals.

• Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers.

• Maintain service reports, documentation, and customer feedback records.

• Train machine operators or end users on proper machine usage and basic maintenance.

• Coordinate with the internal service team and update status on service calls.

Qualifications and Skills:

• ITI or Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering.

• 1–3 years of experience in CNC machine maintenance or servicing (Fresher with strong technical knowledge may also apply).

• Strong knowledge of CNC machine operations and control systems (Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, etc.).

• Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, and automation systems.

• Ability to use diagnostic tools and service software.

• Good communication and customer-handling skills.

• Willingness to travel frequently to customer locations.

Work Environment:

• Field-based role involving regular travel.

• May require working at customer sites with varying work conditions.

• Occasional overtime or emergency service calls may be required.
