Manufacturing CNC Machine Operator

CNC Programming

• Develop, edit, and optimize CNC VMC programs using G-code / M-code (or CAM software as applicable).

• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

• Select appropriate tools, cutting parameters, and machining strategies.

• Perform program prove-outs and make necessary adjustments to improve cycle time and quality.

Machine Operation & Setup

• Set up CNC machines (Turning / Milling / VMC / HMC as applicable).

• Load tools, fixtures, and raw materials correctly.

• Operate machines to produce components within specified tolerances.

• Monitor machining processes and make real-time adjustments when required.

Quality & Inspection

• Measure and inspect finished components using measuring instruments (vernier calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, etc.).

• Ensure products meet dimensional and surface finish requirements.

• Maintain inspection and production records as per company standards.

Maintenance & Safety

• Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.

• Identify machine or tool issues and report major breakdowns.

• Follow safety procedures, 5S, and shop floor discipline at all times.

Coordination & Documentation

• Coordinate with production, quality, and maintenance teams.

• Maintain CNC programs, tool lists, and setup sheets.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of CNC programming and machine operation

• Ability to read and understand technical drawings

• Familiarity with CNC controls (Fanuc / Siemens / Haas / Mitsubishi, etc.)

• Knowledge of cutting tools, materials, and machining processes

• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• It is a Full Time Manufacturing job for candidates with 3 - 6 years of experience.
