Job Description: CNC Turning Setter – Okhla Phase 2

Position: CNC Turning Setter
Location: Okhla Phase 2, New Delhi
Working Hours: 12 Hours (Monday to Saturday)
Weekly Off: Sunday (Fixed)
Salary Range: ₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC Turning machines as per production requirements.

• Select and install correct turning tools, holders, and fixtures.

• Adjust tool offsets, work offsets, spindle speed, and feed rate.

• Read and understand technical drawings and job sheets.

• Perform first-piece inspection to confirm accuracy.

• Monitor machining operations to maintain dimension and surface finish.

• Troubleshoot minor issues related to tooling and machine settings.

• Conduct routine machine maintenance and ensure machine readiness.

• Maintain production records and quality reports.

• Follow workshop safety guidelines and cleanliness standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 1–3 years experience specifically in CNC Turning.

• Good understanding of turning operations, turning tools & tool wear.

• Ability to independently set jobs on CNC turning machines.

• Knowledge of measuring tools (Vernier, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, etc.).

• Ability to interpret drawings and maintain accuracy.
