CNC Machine Operator

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fiber Laser Operator & CorelDRAW Designer to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing design files, operating fiber laser cutting machines, and ensuring high-quality output aligned with client specifications.

Key Responsibilities

1. CorelDRAW Designing

• Create, modify, and optimize vector designs using CorelDRAW for laser cutting applications.

• Prepare production-ready files (DXF, AI, CDR, etc.) with proper dimensions and nesting.

• Convert customer requirements, drawings, or references into precise cutting layouts.

• Ensure design accuracy, scaling, and material optimization to minimize wastage.

2. Fiber Laser Machine Operation

• Operate fiber laser cutting machines efficiently and safely.

• Set machine parameters (power, speed, gas pressure) based on material type and thickness (MS, SS, Aluminum, etc.).

• Load/unload materials and monitor cutting processes.

• Ensure clean cuts, minimal burr, and consistent quality output.

3. Production & Quality Control

• Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality standards.

• Troubleshoot basic machine and design issues during production.

• Maintain consistency in batch production.

4. Machine Maintenance

• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of fiber laser machines.

• Report technical issues or breakdowns to the maintenance team.

5. Coordination & Workflow

• Work closely with the production and sales teams to meet deadlines.

• Understand job priorities and manage workload accordingly.

• Maintain records of completed jobs and material usage.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in CorelDRAW (mandatory).

• Hands-on experience with fiber laser cutting machines.

• Knowledge of materials like Mild Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminum, Acrylic, etc.

• Understanding of nesting, file formats, and cutting parameters.

• Basic technical troubleshooting skills.

• Attention to detail and accuracy in design and production.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in laser cutting / CNC industry.

• Familiarity with AutoCAD or other design software is an advantage.

• Experience in sheet metal fabrication or signage industry preferred.
