Key Responsibilities
Operate CNC machines in a heavy machine shop environment
Handle HMC (Horizontal Machining Centers) and HBM (Horizontal Boring Machines)
Perform machine setup, tool loading, job setting, and program adjustments
Work with G-code and M-code to run and modify CNC programs
Ensure machining accuracy and maintain part quality as per specifications
Conduct measurements using standard instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, etc.)
Maintain production records and adhere to safety and 5S practices
Coordinate with production and quality teams for smooth workflow
Key Skills Required
CNC operation for heavy machine shop
Experience in HMC and HBM machines
Knowledge of G-code & M-code in CNC operations
Ability to interpret engineering drawings
Hands-on experience with machining large/heavy components
Strong understanding of machine parameters, offsets, and program edits
Education: Diploma / BE in Mechanical, Production, Automobile, or related fields
Experience: 5 to 10 years in CNC machine operation
