Role Summary:
Set up, program (MITSUBHISHI), operate, and maintain turn mill machines to produce precision components per engineering prints. Ensure productivity, quality, and safety in manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities:
• Set up tooling, fixtures, and workpieces on CNC turn mill (3–5 axis)
• Load programs, perform manual programming adjustments as needed
• Monitor machining operations, adjust machine parameters for accuracy
• Inspect parts using gauges, calipers, micrometers; maintain GD&T standards
• Perform routine maintenance (lubrication, coolant servicing), report issues
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and work orders
• Keep production logs and inspection records updated
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean shop floor
• Train and mentor junior operators (if applicable)
Qualifications:
• Diploma/ITI in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• 2–5 years’ experience operating CNC turn mill machines
• Proficient in Fanuc/Siemens controls and manual programming
• Skilled in using measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, dial gauges)
• Strong blueprint-reading and mechanical aptitude
• Attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills
