CNC Lathe Machine Operator

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled CNC & Lathe Machine Operator to operate and maintain CNC machines and conventional lathe machines for precision component manufacturing. The candidate must ensure production targets are met while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC turning and milling machines as per production plan.

• Set up and operate conventional lathe machines.

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders.

• Perform machine setup including tooling, offsets, and calibration.

• Monitor machining operations to ensure quality and accuracy.

• Measure finished components using vernier calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, etc.

• Maintain tolerance levels as per drawing specifications.

• Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning.

• Identify and report machine malfunctions.

• Follow safety guidelines and company policies.

• Maintain production records and daily reports.

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of CNC programming basics (Fanuc / Siemens preferred).

• Understanding of G-code and M-code.

• Ability to read engineering drawings.

• Good knowledge of measuring instruments.

• Basic troubleshooting skills.

• Attention to detail and quality focus.

Qualification:

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.

• Minimum 2–5 years experience in CNC / Lathe operation.

• It is a Full Time Manufacturing job for candidates with 2 - 5 years of experience.
