Job Summary:

The CNC Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines to produce precision components as per technical specifications. The role involves reading blueprints, setting up machines, conducting quality checks, and ensuring production targets are met with high accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machines according to production schedules and specifications.

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders.

• Perform routine machine maintenance and report any issues to supervisors.

• Monitor machine operations to ensure parts meet quality standards.

• Conduct measurements using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify product accuracy.

• Make necessary adjustments to machine settings to maintain tolerances.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the CNC section.

• Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies.

• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize productivity.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: ITI/Diploma in Mechanical/Production Engineering or equivalent.

• Experience: 1–3 years as a CNC operator (freshers with training may be considered).

• Knowledge of CNC programming (Fanuc/Siemens/HAAS) is an advantage.

• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.

• Familiarity with measuring instruments and quality standards.

• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work in shifts and meet production deadlines.
