JOB DESCRIPTION
RESPONSIBILITIES-
Load raw materials and ensure proper alignment and tooling before machining begins.
Monitor machine operations during production runs to ensure quality and consistency.
Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
Inspect finished parts using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure adherence to specifications.
Make minor adjustments to machine programs and settings to improve quality and efficiency.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Document production logs and report any discrepancies or issues to supervisors.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES
Set up CNC machines according to production schedules and job cards
Insert align and secure fixtures, tooling based on job specifications
Load and adjust programs (G-code/M-code) as required for each specific job.
Conduct initial test runs and make adjustments to machine settings for optimal output.
Ensure all setups meet quality and dimensional standards before releasing to operators.
Work closely with CNC operators to ensure smooth handover of machines and minimize downtime.
Maintain setup sheets, logs, and documentation for repeatability and traceability.
JOB SPECIFICATION (SKILLS / QUALITIES/ QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED TO PERFORM THE JOB
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
Minimum 1-3 years of experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documents.
Strong knowledge of machine tooling and setup procedures.
Familiarity with quality control standards and measuring instruments.
Basic understanding of G-code and M-code programming (preferred but not mandatory).
Good attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety.
