CNC Lathe Machine Operator

Key Responsibilities

• Machine Setup: Load and set up tools, fixtures, and raw materials based on job requirements and setup sheets. 

• Parameter Adjustment: Fine-tune machine settings and offsets to achieve precise tolerances and meet quality specifications. 

• First-Piece Inspection: Perform initial inspections on the first piece produced to ensure it meets all quality standards before a production run begins. 

• Troubleshooting: Monitor machine performance and assist operators during production runs by identifying and reporting any issues with tooling, machine behavior, or program errors. 

• Maintenance & Cleanliness: Ensure the machine is clean, well-maintained, and ready for operation. 

• Quality Control: Adhere to quality guidelines, perform inspections on finished parts, and make necessary corrections. 

• Documentation: Maintain production logs and adhere to company and safety guidelines.
