Civil Site Engineer

Key Responsibilities • Supervise and monitor day-to-day road construction activities at the project site. • Ensure construction work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. • Coordinate with contractors, supervisors, workers, and vendors for smooth site execution. • Monitor earthwork, excavation, embankment, sub-grade, GSB, WMM, and road pavement activities. • Assist in checking levels, measurements, alignment, and dimensions at site. • Maintain daily site records, measurements, work progress, and material consumption. • Assist in quantity measurement and preparation of Measurement Books (MB) and basic site documentation. • Monitor construction materials and ensure proper utilization at site. • Identify site issues and coordinate with senior engineers for timely resolution. • Ensure proper implementation of safety procedures and site discipline. • Prepare regular progress updates and report site-related issues to the reporting engineer/project manager. Required Skills • Good knowledge of civil construction and road construction activities. • Understanding of basic construction drawings and site measurements. • Knowledge of AutoCAD will be an advantage. • Basic knowledge of surveying, leveling, and quantity measurement. • Good communication and coordination skills. • Ability to manage site activities and work with contractors/workers. • Basic knowledge of MS Office/Excel. • Strong willingness to work at a project site.
