Job Vacancy – Production Chemist (Housekeeping Chemicals)

We are looking for an experienced Production Chemist for the manufacturing of housekeeping and cleaning chemicals.

Experience Required: 1–3 Years

Key Responsibilities:

• Manufacturing and formulation of housekeeping chemicals such as:

  • White Phenyl

  • Black Phenyl

  • Liquid Handwash

  • Glass Cleaner

  • Toilet Cleaner

  • Floor Cleaner

  • Dishwash Liquid

  • Multipurpose Cleaner

  • Other institutional and housekeeping chemicals

• Preparation of batches as per approved formulations.

• Maintaining consistency in product quality, colour, fragrance, viscosity and pH.

• Testing of raw materials and finished products.

• Maintaining proper batch manufacturing records.

• Monitoring chemical mixing, dilution and filling processes.

• Developing and improving formulations wherever required.

• Controlling wastage and ensuring optimum utilisation of raw materials.

• Maintaining records of raw material consumption and production.

• Ensuring proper storage and handling of chemicals.

• Coordinating with production and packaging staff.

• Following safety, hygiene and quality-control procedures in the manufacturing area.

• Troubleshooting quality or formulation-related issues during production.

Candidate Requirements:

• B.Sc./M.Sc. Chemistry, B.Tech/M.Tech Chemical Engineering, Diploma in Chemical Technology, or relevant qualification.

• Experience matters, if you don't have education but have relevant experience - then don't hesitate to contact us.

• Minimum 1–3 years of practical experience in manufacturing cleaning/housekeeping chemicals.

• Good knowledge of surfactants, fragrances, preservatives, colours, thickeners and other raw materials used in cleaning products.

• Practical knowledge of pH, viscosity, product stability and batch formulation.

• Candidate should be able to independently handle production batches.

Preferred Candidate:
Experience in manufacturing phenyl, toilet cleaner, handwash, glass cleaner and other institutional cleaning chemicals will be strongly preferred.
