About the Role:
We are hiring a skilled Beam Saw Operator with experience in the interior or modular furniture industry for our factory in Coimbatore. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in operating beam saw machinery and cutting panel boards accurately as per interior production requirements. Salary plus free accommodation will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate beam saw machines to cut MDF, plywood, and pre-laminated boards.
Read and follow production drawings, cutlists, and grain directions.
Coordinate with cutlist makers and designers to ensure accuracy and material optimization.
Maintain machine cleanliness, perform routine checks, and report faults.
Ensure all panels are cut precisely and meet quality standards.
Follow safety protocols and handle materials carefully.
Skills & Experience Required:
2+ years of experience in a modular furniture or interior manufacturing unit.
Expertise in reading technical drawings and cutlists.
Experience operating beam saws such as Homag, Altendorf, or Biesse.
Basic knowledge of nesting software (like Ardis or Cutlist Plus) is a bonus.
Physically fit and able to handle large boards safely.
Preferred Qualification:
ITI or Diploma in Woodworking, Mechanical, or a related trade.
Experience in modular furniture, kitchen, wardrobe, or interior production.
