Job Title: Spare Parts Executive (Automotive Services)

To: Parts Manager / Service Manager

Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and source required automotive spare parts based on service team requests or customer inquiries.
• Manage inventory levels to ensure availability of fast-moving and critical parts while minimizing excess stock.
• Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics partners for timely procurement and delivery of spare parts.
• Use electronic parts catalogues (EPC), service manuals, and ERP systems to locate correct parts.
• Process purchase orders, sales orders, invoices, and returns accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist technicians and service advisors in identifying suitable parts for vehicle repairs.
• Maintain updated records of parts received, issued, and stock levels using inventory management software.
• Coordinate parts claims and returns with manufacturers or suppliers.
• Conduct periodic stock checks and physical inventory audits.
• Ensure storage areas are organized and comply with safety and cleanliness standards.
Qualifications:
• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related f ield.
• 2–4 years of experience in spare parts management within the automotive sector.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle components and automotive systems.
• Experience using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Dealer Management Systems).
• Ability to read technical diagrams, manuals, and vehicle specifications.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
• Familiarity with major automotive brands and their spare parts catalogues.
• Strong negotiation and supplier coordination skills.
• Customer-centric mindset with experience in handling walk-in and corporate clients.
