Automation Test Engineer

Company: Iotaflow Systems Pvt. Ltd.

We are looking for a skilled Automation Test Engineer to join our team at Iotaflow Systems Pvt. Ltd. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in industrial automation systems, including PLC, HMI, SCADA, RS-485 Modbus communication, and LoRa Gateway integration. The role involves testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and validating automation solutions while ensuring high performance and reliability.

Salary: ₹26,000 – ₹40,000 (In-hand)

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases for industrial automation systems.
Perform testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of PLC, HMI, and SCADA applications.
Configure and test communication protocols such as RS-485 Modbus (RTU/TCP).
Test and validate LoRa Gateway and IoT device connectivity.
Identify, document, and track software and hardware defects.
Collaborate with development and engineering teams to resolve issues and improve product quality.
Verify system functionality, reliability, and performance before deployment.
Prepare test reports, documentation, and validation records.
Ensure compliance with company quality standards and project requirements.

Job Requirements:

Qualification: Diploma/BTech/B.E. in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related field.
Experience: 2–4 years in Industrial Automation Testing or a related field.
Hands-on experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting (Siemens, Delta, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, Mitsubishi, or equivalent).
Good knowledge of HMI and SCADA development/testing.
Experience with RS-485 Modbus (RTU/TCP) communication.
Hands-on experience with LoRa Gateway configuration and IoT communication.
Basic understanding of industrial networking and communication protocols.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Good communication and documentation skills.
Willingness to travel for site testing and commissioning, if required.
