Prepare and revise 2D and 3D drawings for water and wastewater treatment plants using AutoCAD.
Develop general arrangement drawings, piping layouts, equipment layouts, P&IDs, civil and structural drawings.
Create detailed fabrication and construction drawings for tanks, piping, skids, and other components.
Collaborate with process engineers and project teams to understand project requirements and specifications.
Ensure all drawings are aligned with project standards, technical requirements, and timelines.
Coordinate with vendors and site teams for drawing inputs and approvals.
Maintain a structured and organized drawing database.
Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., IS, ASME, ISO, BIS).
Assist in the preparation of as-built drawings after project completion.
Support the design team in resolving site queries related to drawings.
Assist in technical submittals, BOQ preparation, and documentation when required.
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering.
Proficient in AutoCAD (2D & 3D); knowledge of Solid Works or Revit is a plus.
1–5 years of relevant experience in a water or wastewater treatment company.
Strong understanding of water treatment plant components and processes.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Attention to detail, accuracy, and time management.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Experience in preparing layouts for ETP/STP/RO/DM plants.
Familiarity with mechanical equipment like pumps, blowers, valves, filters, tanks, etc.
Exposure to design of piping systems and structural frameworks for treatment plants.
