AutoCAD Designer

We are looking for a Panel Design & Costing Engineer / Estimation Engineer with strong experience in electrical panel design, BOQ/BOM preparation, costing, estimation, and tender review.

Key Requirements

• B.E. / Diploma in Electrical Engineering

• Experience: 5to 10 experience in electrical panel design, costing, estimation, or tendering

• Strong knowledge of LT Panel , PCC, MCC, Power Distribution Panels, APFC Panels, VFD Panels, PLC Control Panels, AMF Panels, DG Synchronization Panels, Fire Pump Panels, and Control Panels

• Ability to prepare and review SLD, GA drawings, power & control schematics, wiring diagrams, terminal drawings, and cable schedules

• Experience in BOQ preparation, BOM development, material estimation, and panel costing

• Ability to study customer enquiries, technical specifications, tender documents, and prepare suitable techno-commercial offers

• Knowledge of major panel components such as ACB, MCCB, MCB, MPCB, contactors, relays, meters, CTs, busbars, VFDs, PLCs, HMIs, APFC relays, capacitors, and control accessories

• Ability to select components based on load, rating, fault level, application, and customer requirements

• Knowledge of busbar sizing, cable sizing, protection selection, feeder selection, and panel layout planning

• Coordination with sales, procurement, production, vendors, and customers for technical and commercial clarifications

• Support vendor quotation comparison, material finalization, and cost optimization

• Knowledge of electrical standards, safety practices, and industrial panel manufacturing practices

• Knowledge of water treatment plants, pump control systems, industrial automation, PLC panels, VFD panels, and SCADA-based systems will be preferred

• Support production during manufacturing and provide technical clarifications wherever required

• Support FAT, testing documentation, and project handover documentation

• AutoCAD knowledge is mandatory

• AutoCAD Electrical / EPLAN knowledge will be an added advantage

• Good MS Excel knowledge is required for costing, BOQ, BOM, and estimation work
