AutoCAD Designer

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in the design, development, and testing of Electrical Control Panels. The role will also involve preparation of Bill of Quantities (BOQ), schematics, and wiring diagrams in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop electrical control panels for industrial automation and power distribution.

• Prepare single-line diagrams, GA drawings, wiring schematics, and cable schedules.

• Select appropriate components such as circuit breakers, relays, contactors, and PLCs based on load and functionality.

• Prepare and review Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for electrical projects.

• Coordinate with vendors and procurement team for component selection and pricing.

• Conduct testing and inspection of panels before dispatch to ensure quality and functionality.

• Collaborate with the production team to ensure error-free assembly and timely delivery.

• Provide technical support during installation and commissioning, if required.

• Ensure compliance with applicable electrical standards and safety regulations.

Key Requirements:

• Diploma or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.

• 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in electrical panel design and testing.

• Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN for creating electrical drawings.

• Knowledge of control system components (PLC, VFDs, MCBs, MCCBs, relays, etc.).

• Familiarity with panel testing procedures and quality checks.

• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documents.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills (Optional):

• Hands-on experience with PLC programming basics.

• Knowledge of IEC or IS electrical design standards.

• Experience with industrial automation systems or process instrumentation.
