AutoCAD Designer

Job Scope

• Work as a team with other Design engineers

• Report to Senior Design Engineer/ Design Manager

• Understand the project requirements & specifications

• Interact with Senior Engineer in completing the design tasks in time and to the intended design requirements

• Handle 1 or 2 projects from concept to manufacturing drawings

• Prepare Technical Submittals and coordinate for approvals

• With assistance from senior designer’s carryout detail design of elements, sub assemblies.

• Prepare manufacturing drawings and coordinate with manufacturing team till assembly, testing & commissioning.

• Visit installations for design validation

• Take guidance from senior designers and produce quality design in stipulated time

• Generate innovative solutions, test & implement

Qualification & Experience

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an internationally recognized institute

• Interested in Research & Development activity cycles in Mechanical Engineering field and related subjects.

• Essential Knowledge about:

  • Mechanics

  • Drives & Controls

  • Hydraulics

  • Machine Elements

  • Auto CAD (Must)

  • Solid Works or Auto Desk Inventor (3D)

  • Usage of MS excel calculators
