AutoCAD Designer

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Prepare elevator layout drawings, shaft plans, and machine room drawings using AutoCAD.

• Create GA (General Arrangement) drawings as per client requirements and site dimensions.

• Coordinate with sales, production, and installation teams for design-related clarifications.

• Modify and update drawings based on feedback and site changes.

• Ensure drawings meet elevator standards, safety norms, and company guidelines.

• Maintain drawing records, versions, and documentation properly.

• Provide technical support to team members and assist during project execution.

• Collaborate with engineers for material planning and load calculations (basic).

• Ensure timely delivery of drawings to avoid project delays.

• Perform site measurement interpretation and convert data into accurate AutoCAD designs.

Key Skills:

• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD 2D (3D is a plus).

• Understanding of elevator components, shaft dimensions, machine room layouts.

• Good drafting speed & accuracy.

• Strong communication & coordination skills.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
