A Drill & Tap Machine Setter in Engineering Manufacturing is responsible for preparing and setting up Drill and Taping machines before production, ensuring they operate correctly, and making adjustments to achieve desired results. They also monitor machine operations, maintain production logs, and may be responsible for basic maintenance and troubleshooting.

The setter will read and understand engineering drawings, including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), to determine the required dimensions and tolerances.
