Job Review:
To assist the Project Manager in planning, execution, and monitoring of fabrication projects, ensuring timely completion, quality compliance, cost control, and smooth coordination among all stakeholders.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Support project planning, scheduling, and execution of fabrication activities
Coordinate with engineering, production, QA/QC, purchase, and site teams
Monitor fabrication progress as per approved drawings, BOQ, and timelines
Follow up on material availability, subcontractors, and vendors
Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety norms, and project specifications
Assist in inspection coordination, stage approvals, and dispatch planning
Track daily and weekly progress and prepare project status reports
Support cost monitoring, variation tracking, and documentation control
Preferred Experience
3 to 6 years of experience in fabrication / structural steel / heavy engineering projects
Hands-on knowledge of fabrication processes (cutting, welding, machining, assembly)
Experience in reading and understanding fabrication & structural drawings
Experience in coordination with multiple teams and vendors
Technical Skills
Knowledge of fabrication drawings, BOM, and production planning
Basic understanding of project planning tools (MS Excel / MS Project)
