Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in operating lathe machines for turning operations.
Support setup of machines, tools, and workpieces.
Help in mounting and centering components on chucks.
Perform basic turning, facing, tapering, and threading tasks.
Assist in shaping metal components as per specifications.
Remove excess material to achieve required dimensions.
Assist in selecting and setting cutting tool.
Help in adjusting machine speed and feed settings.
Ensure proper alignment of tools and workpieces.

Skills Required:

Basic knowledge of lathe machine operations
Understanding of turning processes and tools
Familiarity with measuring instruments
Ability to read basic engineering drawings
Attention to detail and precision
