2D/3D Designer
Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented 2D/3D Designer to create accurate engineering drawings, 3D models, and technical documentation for manufacturing and product development. The ideal candidate should be proficient in CAD software and capable of converting concepts into production-ready designs.
Key Responsibilities
Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models based on customer requirements and engineering specifications.
Develop manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, and BOMs (Bill of Materials).
Prepare production-ready designs with proper dimensions, tolerances, and annotations.
Modify existing designs based on engineering changes and customer feedback.
Coordinate with the design, production, quality, and sales teams to ensure design feasibility.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, company specifications, and quality requirements.
Maintain design documentation, revision history, and drawing records.
Support prototype development and product improvement initiatives.
Resolve design-related issues during manufacturing and assembly.
Follow company design procedures and maintain confidentiality of engineering data.
Required Qualifications
Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in 2D/3D design (or as required).
Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, Autodesk Inventor, or Siemens NX.
Strong understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing processes.
Knowledge of sheet metal, machining, fabrication, or plastic component design is an advantage.
