Role Summary

We are looking for a skilled and innovative mechanical designer to develop and refine mechanical systems for elevators and lifts. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with creative problem-solving to design safe, efficient, and cost-effective solutions that meet industry standards and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Development

o   Create detailed 2D and 3D mechanical designs for elevator components (e.g., cabins, doors, DBG frames, counterweights)

o   Develop layouts and assembly drawings using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).

o   Ensure the Measurement accuracy to develop a drawing of the lift/elevator.

Technical Analysis

o   Ensure structural integrity and safety.

o   Ensure the size of every part of the Lift according to the given data

o   Accuracy in Lift Drawing—Reading and Creating an Image.

Prototyping & Testing

o   Support prototype development and testing of mechanical systems.

o   Incorporate feedback from field engineers and installation teams to improve designs.

Documentation & Standards

o   Prepare BOMs (Bill of Materials), technical specifications, and design reports.

Project Collaboration

o   Work closely with project managers, procurement, and production teams to align design with timelines and budgets

• Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

o   Coordinate with Team and Clients

Education

Diploma or Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Experience

Fresher, with 1-2 years in mechanical design, preferably in lift/elevator

Software Proficiency

AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Sheet Metal, or similar CAD tools

Technical Knowledge

Understanding of elevator mechanics, safety norms, and fabrication processes

Soft Skills

Attention to detail, creativity, teamwork, and strong communication

Preferred Attributes

• Experience with sheet metal design and structural analysis

• Familiarity with manufacturing processes like laser cutting and bending machines.

• Exposure to elevator installation environments and field constraints
