1. Design Engineer – 2D Drafting

Department: Engineering / Design
Reporting To: Design Manager / Engineering Head

Role Summary

The Design Engineer – 2D Drafting will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed 2D engineering drawings in compliance with design standards and manufacturing requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and modify detailed 2D drawings as per engineering specifications.

• Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) accurately in drawings.

• Ensure drawings comply with company standards, customer requirements, and manufacturing feasibility.

• Coordinate with manufacturing, production, and quality teams for drawing clarification and revisions.

• Maintain drawing documentation, revisions, and version control.

• Support design improvements and cost-effective solutions through drafting updates.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of 2D engineering drawings.

• Hands-on experience in GD&T.

• Proficiency in Solid Edge software.

• Understanding of manufacturing processes and tolerances.

• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Qualification & Experience

• Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

• Relevant experience in 2D drafting in an industrial/manufacturing environment.

2. Design Engineer – 2D & 3D

Department: Engineering / Design
Reporting To: Design Manager / Engineering Head

Role Summary

The Design Engineer – 2D & 3D will be responsible for developing detailed 2D and 3D designs, with a focus on jig and fixture design and pneumatic systems for industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and develop 2D and 3D models as per project and customer requirements.

• Design and develop jigs and fixtures for manufacturing and assembly operations.

• Prepare detailed manufacturing drawings and BOMs.

• Design and integrate pneumatic systems in machines and assemblies.

• Coordinate with production, quality, and procurement teams for design execution.

• Conduct design reviews and implement modifications based on feedback.

• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and engineering standards.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Good knowledge of 2D and 3D designing.

• Strong experience in jig and fixture design.

• Working knowledge of pneumatic machines and systems.

• Proficiency in Solid Edge software.

• Problem-solving and analytical skills.

Qualification & Experience

• Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

• Relevant experience in machine design, automation, or manufacturing industries.

• It is a Full Time Manufacturing job for candidates with 6 months - 4 years of experience.
