Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Reverse Engineering & Metrology

    • Disassemble mechanical components, assemblies, and legacy equipment onsite.

    • Perform physical measurements using precision tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, optical comparators) and 3D scanning/CMM tools where applicable.

    • Identify materials, surface finishes, tolerances, and design intent from sample parts.

  • 2D Drafting & 3D Modeling

    • Convert physical measurement data into parametric 3D CAD models.

    • Create fully dimensioned 2D manufacturing, fabrication, and assembly drawings per ASME Y14.5 / ISO standards.

    • Apply appropriate Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), surface finish symbols, and weld/assembly notes.

    • Generate complete Bills of Materials (BOMs) and part lists for production.
