Key Responsibilities Drafting & Documentation
• Draft, review, vet, and finalize legal documents in both English and Marathi, including: o Pleadings, Written Statements, Affidavits, Applications, and Petitions. o Agreements, Contracts, Deeds, MOUs, Legal Notices, and Replies. o Opinions, Compliance Documents, and Advisory Memoranda.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and legal compliance in all documentation.Property Due Diligence & Advisory
• Conduct comprehensive legal due diligence, title verification, property searches, and
risk assessments.
• Prepare title search reports, legal opinions, and transaction-related advisory
documents.
• Provide strategic legal advice to clients on property acquisitions, transactions, and
dispute resolution.
Non-Litigation & Compliance
• Handle non-litigation assignments including documentation, legal advisory, contract
management, Title search Report and regulatory compliance.
• Assist clients in legal structuring, risk mitigation, and compliance-related matters.
Client & Stakeholder Management
• Maintain strong professional relationships with clients through proactive
communication and timely updates.
• Coordinate effectively with advocates, counsels, banking authorities, government
officials, and external stakeholders.
• Understand client objectives and provide practical, solution-oriented legal strategies.
Case Management & Team Leadership
• Manage case portfolios, maintain organized records, and ensure timely filings,
hearings, and follow-ups.
• Monitor litigation timelines and procedural requirements to ensure effective case
progression.
• Supervise, mentor, and guide junior associates, interns, and support staff.
• Contribute to team development by sharing legal knowledge and best practices.
Litigation & Dispute Resolution
• Independently manage and represent clients in a wide range of litigation matters,
including:
o Civil Litigation: Property disputes, recovery suits, injunctions, specific
performance matters, and other civil proceedings.
o Criminal Litigation: Criminal complaints, anticipatory and regular bail
applications, trial proceedings, revisions, and appeals.o Family Law Matters: Divorce, maintenance, child custody, domestic violence,
succession, and matrimonial disputes.
o Real Estate & Property Disputes: Title disputes, possession matters,
redevelopment issues, and land-related litigation.
o Banking & Financial Matters: Recovery proceedings, SARFAESI matters, debt
recovery actions, and related regulatory proceedings.
Court Representation
• Regularly appear and effectively represent clients before Courts, Tribunals, Quasi-
Judicial Authorities, Regulatory Bodies, and Government Departments.
• Independently conduct hearings, arguments, evidence stages, and procedural
proceedings.
